Read This

I am currently reading Shantaram, an epic story telling of one mans journey of life after an escape from prison.

“Guilt is the hilt of the knife that we use on ourselves, and love is often the blade; but its worry that keeps the knife sharp, and worry that gets most of us in the end.” -Excerpt from Shantaram

It’s a crazy tale winding and unwinding you through the streets and hearts of India.

“We are made out of stars, you and I” -Excerpt from Shantaram

Throughout the book together with the main character you question and explore some of life’s questions and answers.

“People say the money is the root of all evil. Evil is the root of all money” -Excerpt from Shantaram

In this story you are saddened and enlightened.

“Men reveal what they think when they look away, and what they feel when they hesitate. With women, she said, it’s the other way around” -Excerpt from Shantaram

You can’t help but talk about this book, or at least I can’t. Don’t let the 900 pages intimidate you…it’s a tale you don’t want to put down. We would love to hear what you think and about any other stories that you are reading.
